Intrinsic feel better with doing well with assignments and their learning. Extrinsic like outside rewards and physical things to make them feel good about their learning.

Adult learners want to feel respected by their experiences as it may connect with their new learning. As a teacher you should always be supportive and make them feel comfortable and safe. 

Learning about where your students are in their learning will help you as a teacher understand how to place people in groups or know how to approach different situations. It is important to know to also handle diverse classrooms as well as age groups.  

Having the ability to motivate students with your instruction, instructing in a way that is diverse and inclusive to all learners. Providing reinforcement for the students to gain motivation as well. 

I learned that it is okay to share personal experiences with students to help create a bridge between what they are learning and the experience that I bring to the class. 

I learned that as teachers we need to be able to communicate good with our students and create a space in the classroom where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Make a classroom where students feel safe, have respect for myself and others, and are engaged. 

I learned how to understand the different needs of students when they are thrown into a new environment. I believe that having the ability to understand the different needs of students will create a positive classroom environment and create respect between teacher and student. 

It is important to know about Charging Your Batteries, to avoid burnout and keep the students engaged.

This course gave me a lot of great tips and information to engage with my students in different ways. Students are people and should be treated with respect regardless of their age.

I found this course to be very interesting, knowing the different age groups, cultures, and learning methods are very important for an instructor to know.
